This is a fairytale-like drama… Korean style.
This started really funny because of Yoon Eun-hye’s (Shin Chae-kyeong)high spirited character and with her loud family. She portrayed her role as a carefree high school student well and full of cuteness and fun.

At first, I find the character of Ju Ji-hoon  (Crown Prince Lee Shin) stiff and emotionless so I thought I am  going to focus more on Yoon Eun-hye’s (Shin Chae-kyeong) character so I can endure watching  this drama… actually I already anticipated pain in the molar scenes of Ju Ji-hoon  (Crown Prince Lee Shin) so I wont be disappointed in the end coz it really started well. But…. wow… the stiffness of of Ju Ji-hoon  (Crown Prince Lee Shin) is really meant to be in this drama… it suits well for a prince coz that’s also my impression of a prince…snob and full of pride…so I guess he really acted well his part.
The setting  is not super duper majestic for a fairytale/fantasy drama  but It is grand enough to feel that they are royals, rich and famous (the stiffness of the crown prince helped a lot I guess haha).
I think the love story is just the same with other existing dramas, with the love square thing… with the lead Actor proposed to his first love but rejected because of her lifelong dream, and there she is the lead actress hating the lead actor but later on feel sympathy because of the lead actor’s family situation and she is the first one to show him that she loves him but she felt like the lead actor is still in love with His first love so she decided to just keep her love for Him to herself… and there is the other guy in the  story to complete the love square thing.. His love for her is love at first sight so he is like obsessed to get the lead actress’ attention and this pointed to the lead actor to realize that He is already falling in love with the lead actress… there you go!…. A love square thing that you can find to almost all dramas in this world…. But….theirs…. is simply Magic!…. I was captivated by the whole story that I wasn’t satisfied with just watching it once so I watched the whole drama for 4x now.

You have the impression that its just a high Schooler’s love story but as the story goes on it is becoming more serious, complications after complications caused by the scandals… it seems heavy to watch but its not… the complications just give justification for the civil status of the royal family… and in the middle of this dilemma… the most awaited part happened…  Crown Prince Shin confessed his love to Crown Princess Chae-kyeong and then….. they kissed….. and…. Hahahaha…. They found love in the hopeless place hahahhaha.. Kidding aside.. well I still suggest you prepare something that can wipe away tears coz I cried with them in the last episodes..separation is really heartbreaking … I really felt their acting…
Kim Jeong-hoon ( Prince Yul) and his mother, I really felt sorry for them but our actions always have it effects and consequences … the part where the flashback of Prince yul’s precious memories with the crown princess is really heartbreaking…you will really think of “What if” coz the character of Prince Yul is really charming and kind in the beginning… actually I almost like him for Crown Princess Chae-kyeong  but the sad part....he is not the lead actor.. so I feel sorry for him.
Well, the ending is a happy ending but I don’t know why.. after watching it over and over again it always leaves me with a certain unexplainable sadness… it’s a feel of something vintage.

Anyway, I give this drama a 5 ramen coz I really really love it…. Superb coz I can watch it over and over again without skipping any episodes and still has the excitement for the next episode.
